December 04, 2014

You may want to begin the coming year with a set of resolutions or cross out some activities from your bucket list. 2015 may be a great year for you to do the things that you’ve been putting off for quite some time. You may also consider improving your home to bring in some good vibes.

To brighten up your living space, think about getting new windows in Milwaukee WI. Options available today may enhance your home’s ambiance and curb appeal. They may also help improve the energy efficiency of your house. To help you, we at Renewal by Andersen of Milwaukee listed the topfour window styles you can consider:

Bow & Bay Windows: Each of these window styles can give a room additional space, as they protrude outside the wall. You can use the extra space as a reading or breakfast nook by having a bench or day bed constructed beside it.

Picture Window: This type of stationary window can bring the scenic view of the outdoors into your home. With its expansive glass surface, it lets in greater amount of natural light, which can help you save on lighting costs.

Casement Window: This window offers aclear view and lets natural light into a room. With a hinge on its right or left side, a casement window operates outward. Its broad extension provides exceptional ventilation when opened. Moreover, the weatherstripping keeps wind, water, and dust out.

Specialty Windows: These are non-operational windows that are available in various shapes, such as circle, half and quarter rounds, arch, hexagon, octagon, triangle, pentagon, gothic, trapezoid, and diamond. This type of window makes an eye-catching addition to any room and is better combined with operational windows.

All of these windows’ frames are made from Fibrex®, a durable frame material that doesn’t rot, allowing you to enjoy beautiful windows for years. They also come with High-Performance™ Low-E4® panes that help control heat transfer both in cool and hot climates. Any of these window styles can help you save on energy costs.

Hear From Our Customers

I cant express how happy we are with choosing Andersen for our window installation. Our sales representative was knowledgeable with product and answered any questions we had without hesitation. I did also fill out a survey that was sent in an email, but sadly I failed to personally name the two gentlemen that performed the actual installation. Barrett and Francisco were our guys, and let me tell you, they were outstanding!!! They did Excellent work and were professional as well as efficient and made this a smooth, none evasive process for us. I strongly recommend this company and these installers to anyone in need of windows!!! My husband and I could not be more pleased we chose Andersen for replacing our windows!!!

Jason and Brett did an awesome job installing our doors. We had separate installers a month earlier for our windows who also did a fantastic job. They were all very professional and cleaned up almost better than the area looked before the installation! Since these were both jobs that took more than one day the installers were great at keeping us informed on the status of where the project was at along the way.

This was a great crew to work with. Both the original install manager we worked with (Jay) and the install team (Daniel, Mason, Tony, Ethan, and Jose). Everyone was very professional and knowledgable. They answered all my questions and the end result on the house is great. In 3 days they replaced an old bay window with a new bay window, a set of french doors on the patio with a sliding patio door, and our old front door with a new front door and storm door.
